Team Taylor Tuesday: Fan Feature
First of all, I apologise to the legions of Taylor Swift fans who follow this blog (Hi, Marianne and family!) for completely forgetting Team Taylor Tuesday last week!
To add insult to injury, it is not Taylor I feature tonight, but one of her fans. However, I found him really funny and likeable, and have already enjoyed his parody of Teardrops on My Guitar several times. Give it a try:
(Yes, the audio and video are not in sync, but that's a small flaw.)
Last week, I sang Drew's Song to my brothers. The one who is a big Taylor fan preferred to be peeved rather than get the joke. The one who is a big Weird Al Yankovic fan demanded that we learn all lyrics immediately.
What do you think?
PS--This fan has other funny videos--both original songs and parodies--but you'd have to bring out your inner adolescent male to enjoy them. I hope you take my meaning!

Not yet! =P Thanks for the tip!
look for her monologue song on YouTube.

Okay, I've seen it! =)
If it doesn't get pulled over the next two weeks, I'll put it up for Team Taylor Tuesday.
I love Taylor but I hope she puts on some weight. Television adds pounds, but she looks stick thin even on tv!
On the CMAs she sang "Fifteen" about knowing who you "are supposed to be", a concept that was almost a little foreign to me at her age. It was more what am I supposed to do and who am I to marry. I never thought in terms of God perhaps having one image of me and me having a different one. I was just "me". Anyway she's a darling.
Carrie Underwood had a lot of sex appeal on the show, doing a number that surely error'd on the side of lust incitation. But she seemed so "girl next doorish" that she can get away with murder.

I agree she looks quite skinny . . . but she has such a lovely personality! People do like to watch her perform and listen to her songs; she was a shoo-in for Entertainer of the Year.
As for Carrie Underwood, these days, she just makes me think: "Hillary Duff meets Country Music." Not too good.
drat. the video's already been pulled. good thing I was able to save a copy of it on my Multiply.

Oh, well. At least I got to see it once.
By the way, the Twilight reference in it reminds me that it's that time of the year again! ;)
ugh. I'd rather just ignore that series already.

So I take it that we won't be watching New MoonK on my birthday?
(Bwahahahahahahaha!)
